TILMICODROG has as an active ingredient tilmicosin, a semisynthetic antibiotic from the group of macrolides, synthesized from tylosin. Tilmicosin has been approved for the treatment of respiratory diseases in poultry, sheep, cattle and swine. It is rapidly and widely distributed in the body of the animal, obtaining high concentrations for up to 72 hours in the tissues involved.
Poultry (broilers, layers and turkeys): For the treatment and control of respiratory infections in birds associated with Mycoplasma gallisepticum and Mycoplasma synoviae, and other germs sensitive to tilmicosin. Swine: For the treatment and control of respiratory infections in swine associated with Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and other microorganisms sensitive to tilmicosin. Cattle (calves): For the treatment and control of respiratory infections in bovines associated with Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Mycoplasma bovis and other microorganisms sensitive to tilmicosin.
