DICLADROG P has as an active ingredient diclazuril (2- (4-chlorophenyl) -2- [2,6-dichloro-4- (3,5-dioxo-1,2,4-triazin-2-yl) phenyl] acetonitrile), coccidiostatic antiparasitic agent of broad active spectrum against the dif ferent stages of the biological cycle of the dif ferent species of Eimeria that affect broilers, layers and turkeys. Diclazuril is used as an additive in balanced feed for the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis, without interfering with the development of the animal’s immunity.

The coccidia invade the intestinal wall of the animal to get the nutrients they need to survive. Inside the organism, the coccidia multiply and then be expelled through the feces, thus infecting other animals. This is how, in crowded conditions, coccidiosis tends to spread throughout the shed.

DICLADROG P is indicated in broilers, layers and turkeys, for the prevention of coccidiosis, which is caused by the following microorganisms: E. tenella, E. mivati, E. necatrix, E. brunetti, E. acervulina, E. maxima and E. mitis.
